Step By Step, Inc.’s Pre-Employment Transition Services, or PETS, build skills that are the building blocks for successful paid employment.

These programs are OVR funded and available to participants between the ages of 14-21, as well as to students in post-secondary school. Pre-Employment Transition Services provide a wide range of vocational opportunities that lay a foundation not only for employment after graduation but also for a successful career.

Community-based work assessments, job shadowing, and work-based learning experiences are just some of the ways that individuals grow their skills and vocational abilities through PETS, all while determining what types of work they aspire to and enjoy.
