Role models and implements psycho-social rehabilitation philosophy and principles while assisting individuals in their recovery inclusive of reestablishing roles in the community, developing support networks and increasing quality of life. Identifies and teaches young adult staff to identify individuals’ strengths and needs and areas that need development or improvement Develops skill related goals in socialization, vocational, self-determination, ADL’s and disability management. Evaluates and monitors individual’s progress. Provides guidance, direction, support and monitoring for individuals during crises/emergencies and follows agency procedures in providing assistance. Intervenes in consumer related problems and situations according to program procedures or supervisory direction. Provides feedback and direction to staff relating to strengths and needs. The base rate for the RPRC2 position is $13.44 – $13.81/hr. The schedule requires some weekend hours and typically works the evening shifts ( 4 pm – 12 am), with possible overnight shifts when on-call or in a staffing shortage (12 am – 8 am). Training and staff meetings generally take place between 8 am and 4 pm. You are required to be on-call for one week every two and a half to three months. Bachelor’s Degree and six months experience in MH or the children and youth system; or Associate’s Degree in a related human services field, or 60 credits in a related field of study, and two years experience in human services including six months experience in MH or High School Diploma and three years progressive employment responsibilities in human services field.
