Step By Step, Inc.’s Behavioral Health Division is seeking a Supported Living Counselor (SLC). Each SLC maintains a caseload of around 8-13 adults living with mental health diagnoses (i.e. depression, anxiety, schizophrenia) who are living independently in various sections of Philadelphia. SLC’s are expected to visit with the individuals weekly to assist with community integration, aid in mental health crisis situations, and advocate for the overall well-being of the individual. SLC’s must be able to manage their own schedule within the working hours of Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 4pm. Knowledge surrounding drug and alcohol use and homelessness is a plus. Interested applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no prohibitive criminal offense.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and do not have any prohibited criminal offense.

  • This position requires a minimum of an Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in the fields of behavioral health, psychology, or sociology; plus prior experience in the area of behavioral health or social services.
  • Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
