Hourly rate range is $22.23 to $30.49

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluates strengths and needs of the outpatients clients (MH and D&A) via the assessment process to assure a positive introduction to services and to establish individual program direction.
  • Schedules appointments with clients of either the Mental Health or D&A programs.
  • Completes and maintains timely and accurate case records in accordance with the Agency’s Clinical Records Policy and Statement on Confidentiality and according to the state office of Mental Health (OMHSAS) Drug and Alcohol regulations (DOH), and County MH or D&A services, Managed Care organization Health Choices and CARF requirements.
  • When requested, participates in client treatment team meetings with treatment agencies and all other meetings both inter and intra-agency as related to job requirements.
  • Provides on-going psycho-social educational groups/community meeting with specific focus on mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues and behavioral issues relative to the program.
  • When requested, participates in meetings with psychiatrist for case consultation, team meetings, and medication information meetings.
  • Completes timely documentation requirements of the program as required by Step By Step, Inc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in human services) or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency. Must be able to work with individuals with a severe and chronic mental illness.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in human services) or other related field and one year of clinical experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a health or human service agency. Must be able to work with individuals with a severe and chronic mental illness.
