ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to:

  • Must possess knowledge and implementation of recovery and Fairweather Lodge Principles.
  • Reviews all perspective member referrals.
  • Conducts initial applicant interviews to determine eligibility status.
  • Ensures active attention to nutrition and exercise by members.
  • Ensures substance abuse education and monitoring of use of substances by members.
  • Ensures members are linked with quality psychiatric services.
  • Acts as a mentor/instructor giving feed back to the group on activities, governing household responsibilities, job development/training, job performance and interpersonal relations.
  • Provides and/or arranges training for group members that includes but is not limited to group dynamics and problem solving, Roberts Rules, business development or job training, recovery, self-esteem, etc.
  • The Coordinator will acquire technical support when the members and Lodge Coordinator is unsuccessful at resolving a problem.
  • Establishes and maintains written/verbal communication with inter and intra-agency staff in a clear, effective and professional manner.
  • Assists members with personal and business financial accounts.
  • Directly supervises the Community Employment Specialist and Mental Health Recovery Specialist positions with weekly documented face-to-face contact.
  • Responsible for monitoring and enhancing staff morale.
  • Assists staff in continuation of their professional growth and helps them keep current with the field of Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
  • Attends and participates in scheduled staff development activities.
  • Fulfills on-call responsibilities, including assuming the primary responsibilities and training and monitoring employees in the on-call procedures.
  • Meets with staff, formally and informally.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to individuals in a Supported Housing Program.

All Team Members must:

  • possess a Bachelor’s Degree AND 1 year experience in mental health or employment system, OR
  • possess an Associate’s Degree in a related human services field AND 2 years experience in mental health services or 1 year mental health PLUS 1 year in employment systems, OR
  • possess a High School Diploma / GED AND 4 years progressive employment responsibilities in either mental health or employment systems (with a minimum of 1 year experience in the mental health field
  • be 18 years of age or older
  • have a current driver’s license with no suspensions or points within the past three (3) years
  • have no prohibitive criminal offenses
  • be able to work on weekends and holidays
  • On-Call rotation as scheduled

Pay rate – $15.91-18.46/hr – rate will increase with education beyond minimum requirements, verified work experience beyond minimum qualifications, specific licenses and certifications.
