The Authorization Case Manager will help ensure clients in Step By Step, Inc.’s Children’s Program are eligible and authorized for IBHS services. This individual should possess good problem-solving skills and enjoy working as part of a team. Ongoing collaboration will occur with other program staff, families/guardians, and insurance providers. Developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships with others is an integral part of this position. The authorization case manager will provide direct support and assistance in all aspects of the service authorization process.

-Associate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Criminal Justice, or

related human services field with a minimum of one year case management or counseling experience working with children and families; or

-Associate degree in any other field with a minimum of two years case management or counseling experience working with children and families.
